This cigar line is named for the illustrious Manhattan neighborhood along the East River lined with luxurious Brownstones, built in 1875 by Effingham B. Sutton between 57th and 58th Streets. This area became quite the trendy neighborhood around 1920. The popularity of this area is evident even today when one reviews a list of some of the past and present residents; Mario Cuomo, Kenneth Cole, Bill Blass, Marilyn Monroe, Sigourney Weaver, Joan Crawford, Freddie Mercury, and many more.
The Sutton Place cigar is as elegant as the neighborhood, boasting an ample full-flavored character, while maintaining a mild to medium body. It features a silky-smooth Connecticut Shade wrapper over a Honduran/Dominican filler with a pleasant twist, a Brazilian wrapper-grade binder. This results in a creamy yet bold cigar, very balanced, and one of the most consistently delicious and reasonably-priced cigars on the market.
You don't have to buy that brownstone to experience true luxury! Try a Sutton Place cigar!
